A Call from Cthulhu

“Went to see the captain, strangest I could find. Laid my proposition down, laid it on the line. I won’t slave for beggar’s pay, likewise gold and jewels. But I would slave to learn the way to sink your ship of fools.” Yes, the “brilliant” intro lyrics may have been written by some [rather talented] suspected CIA operatives, and were I more paranoid, I’d suspect a few were also listening in to Sunday night’s show.

man overboard

Gomer Kyle [an earlier incarnation of] was my guest in the Central Dublin Command Bunker© for this show and I tried my hand at free-from, with mixed results. {*1}

Actually, the term I used for this voyage’s navigator was “co-pilot.” While sailing, we received a call from the Dark Lord of the Deep himself. Man, what a fan base I have!

cthulhu

Speaking of piloting and the Dark Lord, someone in the chat room asked me if I wasn’t being foolhardishly brave by inviting the Dark Lord into the mix. Her query reminds me of another song I recently added to the show’s bumper line-up:

A monster of my own creation. I was watching the signs.
She left nothing up to the imagination, while I was feeding her lines.

I had my foot hard down on the floor,
and although I was going no place,
The sudden loss of power, at one million miles an hour, left its mark.
See the lines on my face?

Careening across the Atlantic, out of the fire back into the flames.
When the oxygen mask falls out of the rack,
Will they let me have a moment to breathe?

I know that nothing is gonna happen at this altitude,
cause I’ve studied the mortality rates.
But if I’m due to come in for a rude awakening
I believe it better never than late.

Who is a monster now?

Kudos to the above bit of synchronicity go to one Jon Astley [yes, the little known one-hit wonder had a muse-inspired moment or two]. But, the [first] Time cover below slapped me in the face today while I was in line to buy gas for my car:

Oh, how flagrantly those boys at Time (bought out by the CIA back during the launch of Operation Mockingbird) tell you how the Temple Dogs [namely Hanks] of the Holy Wood are being used to rewrite history at whim. It didn’t take me long to find additional covers connecting the themes of Cthulhu and everything else.

World Party [non-CIA version of same song]: “We’re setting sail, to the place on the map from which no one has ever returned. Torn by the promise of the joker and the fool, by the light of the crosses that bur-urn. Torn by the promise of the women and the lace, and the gold and the cotton and pearls. It’s the place where they keep all the darkness you meet. You sail away from the light of the world.”

Stargate. Check. Tentacles. Check. Butt sex. Check. Evil eye. Check. Pedophilia. Check. Tentacles. Check. Xbox™. Check. “Gate” stretching. Check. Assassination. Check. Open admissions. Check. Technology as a form of magick. Check. Demonic face in the fire. Check. Androgyny equals death. Check. Good job boys!

obama tiger sheen

Before the week was over, after enough suggestions, I watched the recent episode of South Park. Had to laugh, as it featured Tiger Woods the “top,” and his recent bottom, Obama [topic illuminated]. Syncing the infernal trio back to the Celtic Rebel, was fellow “sex-addict” Charlie Sheen. As God is my witness, I will play that tape of him and Jesus on my show [one day].

One reader, who had previously left comments of value, recently chimed in suggesting I had a problem with “sex addiction,” hence leading to my losing respect for his, um, “opinions.” The forces behind South Park, at least, were willing to make fun of how that phrase is nothing more than yet another preposterous media-fabrication (like “bipolar,” ADHD, “safe sex,” etc.). Yes, there is something wrong with me. I like having sex with women. I am a bad man.

I am reminded of another media-created phrase I’ve heard many a replicant spew, “the G-spot” [no such thing, in regards to men or women, the name alone says more than enough]. Neglected to add it to the conversation Kyle and I were having about the plan [to turn most men gay]. Well, where is this new alleged “spot” located for males, but way up our ass? Does that truly surprise anyone who knows how the wizards of bullshit weave their spell, aka “buttfuck” the public mind?

survival

The most recent Dead film by Romero was, in my opinion, a bit of a disappointment after the phenomenal Diary of the Dead. To sum it up concisely, it addresses how to deal with the problem of the growing numbers of replicants/zombies around us. One side wanted to kill them all [depopulate] and the other to train them to eat something beside us [i.e., not force human individuals to conform].

In the end, the two sides end up becoming zombies themselves, having devoted so much of themselves to the task of others instead of themselves. At least that’s the moral I derived from it. Not to dismiss the point made by Javier [this week’s winner], as perhaps I am more like the former of the two than I care to admit.

six feet deepsix inches deep

Neglected to mention the title of the song/poem I translated for Kyle, was “Epitafio,” as in Epitaph. What would we like written on the one we leave behind?

I should have loved more, and cried more
Should have watched the sun rise a few more times
I should have taken more risks, been wrong more
Did the things I wanted to do
I tried to accept people as they were
All know the joys and the pains such can bring the heart

Perhaps I’ll be protected
While I walk distracted
Perhaps I’ll be protected
While I walk

I should have been less complicated, worked less
Watched the sun set more often
I should have worried less about minor problems
I wish I had died of love
I should have accepted life as it is
Each of the joys and sadnesses it brings

While the above is beauty, I think They Might Be Giants summed up such thoughts when mixed with actions when they wrote, “Now it’s over I’m dead and I haven’t done anything that I want. But, I’m still alive and there’s nothing I want to do.”

face off

Next Sunday night, March 28, 2010, my Guest will be Michael Tsarion. If you haven’t seen his Architects of Control film, I’d highly recommend it. Speaking of films, here’s my latest [once banned by the fashionable fascistsas at both youtube and dailymotion].

I hope I didn’t come off harsh [well, more so than normal] to some. I don’t want The Rebel Path to be a place where we discuss politicians, unless it’s in regard to the demon that crawled up their ass. Also, I don’t want to let the medium [i.e., the media] communicate the message. The medium is but a well to use, a place to reach and occasionally pull memes to communicate our own message/conclusions.

ship of fools

Not so sure about this “free-form” style anymore, as, in my opinion, the show’d have been a bit better [hm, sometimes referred to as “tighter”] had I seized control of the ship’s reins a little more rigidly. I’d have like to have devoted more time to discussing the ins/outs of technology, sungazing and the reasons behind the “gay-lites.” Next time, I’ll have to apply the lash early and often. {*2}

How else can I hope to guide this ship of fools?

*1: Unfortunately, Gomer (Kyle) has since transformed himself into a delusional racist with basement dreams of “becoming the next president of” and “kicking all the niggers out of” America. I can in no way endorse such insane views and regret this casts such a negative light on what was an otherwise half-decent show.

*2: Coincidentally, the Pogue’s “Rum, Sodomy & the Lash” was playing in my car today.

*3: Speaking of The Dar One, He Whose Name Must Not Be Mentioned More than Twice, some are speculating that he may be controlling political candidates.

  1. Thanks Reb.

Good luck dealing with your “sex addiction.” Be advised, many of us with that problem are also very susceptible to habitual food and water use!

PS: I try to listen to the audio, but it always plays really sped up, even on kyle hunt’s page. Its probably my computer, but is there a anywhere else where these shows can be heard?

  3. Wow. Did you really coin “Central Dublin Command Bunker”? I searched on Google and you were the first result with my name right in the description.

Searching “h8ors” and “stynk hole” also yields interesting results.

  5. Bravo CR! I’m enjoying your shows. You and Lenon Honor were fantastic. I’ve followed him for a while and it was a pleasure to listen to you two talk.

Thank you so much for going there about demon possession. And I don’t mean that in a bible thumping way. Most people can’t handle the suggestion that demon possession can look like Sarah Palin minus the vomit and head spinning. I think they – the demon appendaged let’s call them – are running rampant. Some of them are obvious. They have the “sheen of fame” I call it. Others are not so obvious – written off as the psycho bitches and sociopaths that litter reality TV land. You could do a whole show on it. Or hell, just watch TV – they’re everywhere.

  7. Ryan McAlister, well, I’m sure at some point, the same scientists, I mean shit-heads, will figure out the problem with the likes of me/us, is that we have a penis … and will propose some kind of new effemination solution (hopefully, not physical). 🙄 Regardless, not a “rebel” option.

Ferdinand, it would appear so. 👿

knowglow, I hope you like the late video addition, which I had been meaning to get out for a while. Hopefully, in the future, callers will learn that The Rebel Path is where you discuss the Demon that crawled up the politician’s hell-hole and not the persona dancing on the stage.

  8. THAnks makes a film about WAR called PACIFIC.

hey kids , can anyone tell me what means Pacific

    Brothers killing brothers heroically Miss

Correct Junior, now get into that foxhole

    cheers

  10. Ryan McAlister, I guess I’ll try to cope with my “problem,” seeing that penis removal, be it literal or metaphoric, is NOT a “rebel” option.

Ferdinand, I guess that suggests … “yes.” 😉

knowglow, thanks! I honestly feel that talking about such is far more revelant than talking about the personas they put out. Hope the video add-on was a nice touch.

Aferrismoon, nice addition as usual. Yes, kind of funny that little doggie Tom Shank [as in the one that went up his ass when he was initiated] is now making a series about Pacifis[t/m].

  11. I personally think Cthulhu could use a lozenge. There, I said it! I’m not afraid of controversy!

Probably a flash issue. If you look at the page source, you can figure out the streaming link for the podcast:
    [audio src="http://mp3.oraclebroadcasting.com/rebel_path/rebel_path.2010-03-21_16k.mp3" /]

That’s how I always download it, so I can listen to it on my mp3 player. Hope this helps.

  16. aferrismoon, great additions as usual. It is indeed, a strange um, “twist,” on the word PACIFIS[t]. And brought to us by the Vat’s initiated little temple doggie, Tom Shank, and ASSIFIST if there ever was.

mat, the Dark Lord might not see the humor in that.

gee, thanks for helping. Just like to add, one can always download from the archives too.

  17. Of course not, but that’s what makes him the “dark lord” ;).

  18. Maybe you and Jeremy harbor too much hate for the dreaded “lol” and other idiotic internet slang. It seems the dark lord himself knows how much it bothers people, and made a blog just to fuck with you. Any chance to use your own hate and turn it inward I guess. The dark lord is a very petty abomination.
